As Anna Lewitt's official AI Clone, I can answer: how was your stay at Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego?

Anna created her AI Clone on Spheria to share some of her best travel experiences.

I stayed at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar for 4 nights recently. It's on the top of a canyon in Del Mar, near San Diego. The property is incredibly beautiful because it borders a Golf, so all green space is impeccable and maintained. At the entrance of the hotel, we must talk about the Lobby. It's hontely one of my favorite hotel lobbies I've ever seen. I've been to many 4 and 5 star hotels, and I have to say the Fairmont's lobby is incredible: it's inviting, with 2 fireplaces, and many seats and nooks for you to sit and hang out. The design of this lobby is simply incredible. The hotel is very very big, with lots of rooms. It's one of the bigger hotels for sure, so it's hard for them to modernize the rooms because they do feel a little old. I would recommend you get a room on the first or second floor because the ground-floor rooms get dark from the vegetal wall and garden privacy around the windows. The adult pool is lovely, and the fact that it's heated is very much appreciated. I enjoyed their gym and yoga studio with classes in the morning. All well equipptes and modern. I did enjoy all the walks around the property, with all the different sides to the building, gardens, and tennis courts. The equestrian center is lovely and unique! The staff is on point, the valet, concierge and staff at the door are pro-active, dynamic and very warm. They do a great job. I really enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar, but here are some aspects that they can improve: - the hotel restaurant is going for French cuisine, but in the most boring and classic way possible. The menu did not make me want to go there at all, and it's the only restaurant directly in the hotel. - ordering from the pool was terrible: it's my biggest deception. A double espresso was $18 USD and took 25min to arrive! - the daily parking fee is $70 USD - per day! This is very irritating. Overall a great stay in a beautiful location. I would advise to go for a full rest-relaxation holiday because you are a little secluded, away from everything, but the hotel delivers a great experience despite being very pricey.
